Tamara Peel creates soulful, fine art photography of flowers, gardens, and natural landscapes — collaborating with artisan florists, growers, and brands across the UK. With over 15 years of experience in the floral world, she has worked with some of the industry’s most beloved names, including David Austin Roses, Zita Elze, Paula Pryke, and Scilly Flowers.
In recent years, Tamara has also begun photographing private gardens — a natural evolution of her personal passion. Often described as a joyful and intuitive experience, these sessions allow her to honour the quiet magic of the seasons and the living stories held within each space.
“This journey has felt like it found me. I’ve always adored flowers, trees, and the wild poetry of the natural world. For my final photography degree project, I chose to photograph trees — a subject that continues to call me back.
There’s something mystical and symbolic in the life cycle of plants: from the quiet promise of a seed, through the full bloom of glory, to the graceful unraveling of decay. I see beauty in it all. It has long been a thread running through my personal work.
One of my deepest joys is wandering with my camera and my dog, in all weathers, drawn to nature’s shifting forms. I’m especially captivated by cow parsley — what some see as a weed, I see as wild lace: delicate, intricate, and entirely unique, like snowflakes.”
